Billing & Subscription

Manage your CyberOrigen subscription, payment methods, and usage.

Accessing Billing

Navigate to Billing in the sidebar. Only users with Owner or Billing Admin roles can access billing settings.

Subscription Management

Current Plan

View your current subscription:

  • Plan name (Startup, Professional, Enterprise)
  • Monthly/Annual billing cycle
  • Next billing date
  • Current usage vs limits

Upgrade Plan

To upgrade your plan:

  1. Go to BillingManage Subscription
  2. Click Upgrade
  3. Select new plan
  4. Confirm changes

Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged the prorated difference.

Downgrade Plan

To downgrade:

  1. Go to BillingManage Subscription
  2. Click Downgrade
  3. Select new plan
  4. Confirm changes

Before Downgrading

Ensure your usage fits within the lower plan's limits. Excess users, targets, or assets may need to be removed.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Cancel Subscription

To cancel:

  1. Go to BillingManage Subscription
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Complete the cancellation survey
  4. Confirm cancellation

Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation.

Current Usage

View your plan limits in the Current Plan card at the top of the Billing page:

  • Users: Number of admin users on your plan
  • Targets: Domains/IPs you can scan
  • Scans/Month: Monthly scan allocation
  • Assets: IT assets you can track

Your credit balances (Scan Credits and Asset Credits) are displayed in dedicated sections below the Current Plan card.

Scan Credits

Purchase additional scans when you need more than your plan allows.

Buying Credits

  1. Go to BillingBuy Credits
  2. Select credit package
  3. Complete payment

Credits never expire and can be used anytime you exceed your monthly limit.

Credit Usage

Credits are automatically used when:

  1. You've used all monthly scans
  2. You start a new scan
  3. Credits are deducted from your balance

AI Credits

Purchase additional AI advisor requests.

Buying AI Credits

  1. Go to BillingBuy Credits
  2. Switch to AI Credits tab
  3. Select package
  4. Complete payment

Payment Methods

Adding a Card

  1. Go to BillingPayment Methods
  2. Click Add Card
  3. Enter card details
  4. Click Save

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Default Payment Method

Set your default payment method:

  1. Go to BillingPayment Methods
  2. Click the ... menu on the desired card
  3. Select Set as Default

Removing a Card

  1. Go to BillingPayment Methods
  2. Click the ... menu on the card
  3. Select Remove

WARNING

You must have at least one payment method on file for an active subscription.

Invoices

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to BillingInvoices
  2. View list of all invoices
  3. Click any invoice to view details or download PDF

Invoice Details

Each invoice shows:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Billing period
  • Plan charges
  • Credit purchases
  • Taxes
  • Total amount

Download Invoice

  1. Open the invoice
  2. Click Download PDF

Billing Information

Company Details

Update your billing information:

  1. Go to BillingBilling Info
  2. Update company name, address, tax ID
  3. Click Save

Billing Email

Invoices are sent to the account owner's email. To add additional billing contacts:

  1. Go to BillingBilling Info
  2. Add emails under Billing Contacts
  3. Click Save

Enterprise Billing

Enterprise customers have additional options:

  • Annual Contracts: Custom annual agreements
  • Purchase Orders: PO-based billing
  • Wire Transfer: Bank wire payments
  • Net Terms: Net 30 payment terms
  • Volume Discounts: Custom pricing for large deployments

FAQ

When am I billed?

Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same day each month. Annual subscriptions are billed once per year.

Can I get a refund?

We offer prorated refunds for annual subscriptions canceled within 30 days. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable.

What happens if payment fails?

We retry failed payments for up to 7 days. After that, your account is suspended until payment is resolved.

How do I update my plan?

Go to BillingManage Subscription to upgrade or downgrade.

Are credits refundable?

Purchased credits are non-refundable but never expire.
